Tote Bags and Bark event!

Last year, we attended the Bark Heard Around the World event in Syracuse - a national puppymill rescue event. We will be back at the event this year as well! Less than one month to go! My mom and I have been making tote bags to sell for a fundraiser for HUA at the event - with all donations going to HUA. Here are a few of them. Don't mind the wrinkles - I need to iron them! :)

In dog news, since I haven't updated in forever, all things are going well! We found Ranger a new food that he can eat with his very few teeth (he had another dental with another tooth pulled) and he has been eating like a champ! We are still trying to figure out Sharla and her skin issues, but the vet said we've really tried everything that we can. At least she's not really itchy - just red and oily Seborrhea skin. Timmy is doing great - no health problems lately! YEAH! Angel is also doing wonderful - no health problems - YEAH AGAIN! Jigga has some funky skin scabs going on. She started to get them after our last set of foster cat/kittens left our house and it's progressively gotten worse. We had some ointment, but not sure if it's working or not. All in all, things are going great though!

Foster Cat/Kittens - Updated Pics!

Here are some updated pictures of our foster cat/kittens. They are almost 6 days old (well, most of them - 2 of them are 5 days old)

Kittens!

Our foster cat, Chantal, had 8 kittens at our house over the weekend. Needless to say, we are running on barely any sleep. The one is not able to latch, so we are up every 1 1/2 - 2 hours feeding that one - depending on when he/she cries. Here are some pics of the new little ones. 20-40% of kittens pass away from Fading Kitten Syndrome, so we are just trying our very best! On another note - PLEASE spay and neuter your pets. PLEASE.

Timmy is Comfy!

Looks like Timmy found just the right spot to get comfy. Apparently he doesn't mind having a butt in his face - I guess it keeps him warm haha ;)

Updates!

It's football season and of course we had to get some Buffalo Bills bandanas for the fur-kids. Here is Ranger in his - you can tell he is beyond excited haha ;)

As a side note, 31 dogs were dumped in a rural location outside of Buffalo. Most likely a miller dumping the dogs on the side of the road. 1 dog was dead, several were pregnant (including dogs most likely in their first heat cycle), some were very scared, and most have medical problems. When will this cycle of greed end?

A fellow nestie was designing FREE stick figure drawings - yes at no charge - and here is her wonderful work of me and all my fur-kids! Shout out to tiffandnick! You rock! Oh, and quick note - I actually don't let my cats climb trees and you shouldn't either! :)
